Contract Conditions
With every contract for remodeling,
there are a few basic conditions that apply.
- Estimates reflect the present knowledge of existing conditions. All costs are
based on visual defects. In renovation, there is always the possibility of
unforeseen conditions that affect project costs. Any changes are discussed in
full with the customer before proceeding.
- All changes and/or additions are prepaid and agreed to by both Daman and Son and
the customer before additional change work is begun.
- If multiple rooms exist in the remodeling plan, the work for each room will be
listed separately, with colors, surfaces and flooring, etc. per customer's
choices. The customer signs off on each page, acknowledging agreement.
- Daman and Son works directly with the customer so that the customer does not give
instructions or changes, nor lend tools or materials, to sub-contractors.
- Estimates are valid for three months.
- Customers may request copies of bid drawings and prints; however, these are the
property of Daman and Son and will be billed at $250 prepaid or applied to the
contract if the bid is awarded.
Insurance Policies
- Daman and Son is fully insured with Whorton Insurance Group for general liability, builders risk and warranty insurance.
